   Model Residential Public School organised a heartfelt tribute the well-known singer Zubeen Garg, who passed away recently. Students and teachers gathered in the school auditorium to remember the artist loved by people across Assam.

   The programme began with the lighting of a lamp in front of Zubeen Garg’s portrait/ photo.

The Principal spoke about his contribution to Assamese music and society, calling him a voice that lived close to the heart of every listener.

Many teachers shared personal reflections on how his songs inspired discipline, creativity, and cultural pride. A group of students sang some of his well-known songs in a calm and respectful manner. The school observed two minutes of silence to honour him. The programme ended with everyone promising to keep his music alive in th

eir hearts.
