Shakespearian sonnet
Shakespeare to be known as the best sonneteer in English literature. Shakespeare composed a long sonnet sequence consisting of 154 sonnet pieces. These were published in 1609 by Thomas Thorpe . sonnets(1-126) addressed to his Friends (uncertain identity),two sonnets are about Cupid (153-154) and remaining twenty six sonnets are addressed to dark lady (unknown lady).
Shakespeare sonnet are different from the conventional sonnets of Elizabethan Period. His sonnet form consists in three quatrains and a couplet with the rhyme scheme "abab,cdcd,efef,gg.
Through out his sonnet Shakespeare expressed his thought and feeling about friendship, love honour, good and evil
